Beautiful character etching on this unique art glass vase made by the iconic Orrefors Glassworks of Orrefors, Sweden. The vase depicts William Shakespeare’s tragic romantic couple, Romeo and Juliet and their famous balcony scene. Incised on the bottom is the code D3 which dates this piece from 1964. A truly special piece!
The vase was estate-owned and is in excellent condition except for a surface bubble along the base that feels like it’s erupted into a tiny chip. The base of the vase has some surface scratches too. Take a moment to look at the pictures for condition reference.
It measures 8”H x 5 1/8”W x 2 5/8”D.
