Vintage Mid-Century Stangl Pottery “Thistle” Sugar and Creamer Set /hg

Wonderful mid-century feel to this cheery sugar and creamer set made by Stangl Pottery between 1951-1978. The set features an incised thistle design, a soft ivory glaze and whimsical hand-painting. The interiors are painted an earthy terracotta brown which is a beautiful accent in and of itself!

The set was estate-owned and is in good-excellent vintage condition. You will see some minor discoloration near the rim of the sugar bowl, and a tiny flea bite chip on the rim too.  Look closely at the pictures for condition reference.

The sugar bowl measures 4” in height and 3 3/4” in diameter.  Handle to handle measures 5 7/8”. 

The creamer measures 2 7/8” in height and 3 1/4” in diameter.  Spout to handle measures 5”.
