Vintage Japanese Turquoise Glazed Kangxi-Style Figural Duck Pair /hg

A charming pair of Kangxi-style ducks, circa 1970s.  The ducks are portrayed perching on aubergine glazed rocks, with their necks posed in curiosity, and wings partially outstretched.  Their bodies are glazed in a deep turquoise hue, which helps to highlight the texture to the molded feathers.   

The figurines were estate-owned and are in excellent vintage condition.  You will see some production glaze imperfections, but no chips or cracks were found.  

One duck is slightly larger than the other, and respectively they measure 8 3/4” and 8 1/2” in height.
