Vintage Grindley “Meadow Brook” 12.5” Oval Platter /hg

There’s so much vintage charm on this beautiful transferware platter made by Grindley of Stoke-on-Trent, England.  The platter features a serene blue scene of a picturesque cottage on the water, a bridge, a fisherman, birds, trees, and flowers.  The backstamp indicates that it was likely made between the 1930s-40s. 

The platter was estate-owned and is in excellent vintage condition.  You will see minor utensil scratches, but no chips, cracks, or crazing.  

It measures 12.5” x 10”.
