Vintage Ceramic Dachshund Weiner Dog Planter/Caddy/Trinket Dish /hge

Such a friendly demeanor to this adorable dachshund planter/caddy, likely made in the 1950s.  It’s an interesting piece that could have many purposes, from a planter/trinket dish or desk organizer for pens and paperclips, to a sink caddy with a space to put pot scrubbing brushes and sponges.  In my research I even saw it referred to as a “mens caddy” for holding a wallet, passport, a watch and spare change.  However you would use it, it sure is a cutie!

This piece was part of large dachshund collection from a fine estate and is in excellent vintage condition.  No chips, cracks, or crazing found.
