Charming and whimsical white porcelain Christmas ornament designed by Jacques Prolongeau for Haviland Limoges, France.  The ornament depicts a joyful child riding a prancing horse.  It has a very wintry, Scandinavian feel and has the word “Noel” and the date “1972” on it.  The back has the maker’s mark, Haviland France impressed on it, near the bottom.  

The ornament was estate-owned and is in nearly new condition.  No chips, cracks, or crazing found.  

It measures 4 1/4” in height and 4 1/4” in width.
