Walker & Hall Ornately Hand-Engraved Stag Antler Fish Serving Set with Original Box /g

This vintage fish serving set is used, from an estate. It is exquisite in detail with distinct hand-engraving on both the fork and serving knife. NOTE: This is not a carving set, but a serving set. It was made by Walker & Hall, of Sheffield, England, on or around the 1890’s. The handles of both pieces are stag antler in the original black coffin-style leather covered wooden case of that era (the box does show signs of wear). They serving knife is marked- see photos- but the marks have worn down over the years. Not being marked specifically “STERLING” it is likely electroplated silver. Walker & Hall, in 1843, had the first license to make electroplated pieces in Sheffield.
