Vintage T&S Handimaid Depression/Uranium Glass Measuring Pitcher with Manual Beater /hg

Unique design to this Depression-era measuring pitcher and manual beater combo made by The Turner & Seymour Manufacturing Co. of Torrington, Connecticut. The beater has a splash guard and fits nicely onto the 2 cup measuring pitcher.  The pitcher has a minute amount of uranium in the glass that causes it to glow under a UV light.  Uranium glass is highly sought after by collectors! 

The piece was estate-owned and is in good vintage condition.  You’ll see some missing paint on the handle of the beater, some minor rust, and a few tiny flea bite chips around the spout and rim of the pitcher.  It still functions properly. 

It measures approx. 12 1/4” in height and the pitcher diameter is 5 1/8”.  Spout to handle measures 6 5/8”.
