Exceptional craftsmanship on this gorgeous hand-blown art glass olive bowl designed by John Dreves. This piece was originally introduced at the 1939 World Fair. Designed by Dreves when he was just 26 years old, long before he was made a resident designer for Steuben. It features a fluid, scrolled glass handle that perfectly characterizes early mid-century Steuben design.
The bowl was estate-owned and is in excellent condition. You will see the occasional (very subtle) scratch on it, but no chips or cracks found. It displays beautifully! Look closely at the pictures for condition reference.
It measures 3 7/8” in height and 5 1/8” in diameter.
