Unique figural face cruet made by Rosenthal of Germany. Designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad and crafted from porcelain, the cruet is also embossed with a modernist pattern of ovals and dots. The design is crisp and artsy. Rosenthal produced the Romance pattern from 1961-2005, but based on the backstamp, this piece was made in the 1960s. It would be a fun piece displayed on open kitchen shelving!
The cruet was estate-owned and is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing found, but it could benefit from a detailed cleaning.
It measures 6 3/8” in height.
