Sleek Art Deco aesthetic on these compotes designed by George Sakier for Fostoria in the early 1930s.  The pattern is called “Diadem” and it has a beautiful diamond pattern on the feet of these shallow compotes.  These pieces are quite rare.  You don’t see them listed often on the usual selling platforms.  They also have a minute amount of uranium in them, making them glow under UV light.  Collector’s items for sure!

The compotes were estate-owned and are in very good vintage condition.  They do have some subtle scratching on them when held to the light, but are otherwise in nice shape!

They measure 7.5” in diameter.
