Charming artwork on these Viennese-style demitasse cups made in Austria. They feature 17th century ladies engaging in various endeavors, such as gardening and frolicking. The cups have an opulence to them with the classical art and gold gilding.
The cups were estate-owned and are in excellent condition. You will see a divot or two in the glaze, production imperfections, but there are no chips, cracks, or crazing found. The gilding is in nice shape too for the most part.
The measurements are as follows:
The cups measure 2 3/8” in height and 2 1/4” in diameter. The red cup is ever so slightly smaller, but not by much.
The saucers measure 4 5/8” in diameter.
