Graceful elongated shape and stunning floral artwork on this sandwich or dresser tray made in Bavaria, Germany in the early 20th century. The mark on the back indicates it was likely made by The C. Hutschenreuther Company and then imported to the United States. The mark was a special import stamp for the US market specifically. The artwork is really beautiful featuring soft pastel renderings of chrysanthemums, cherry blossoms, and petunias.
The tray was estate-owned and is in excellent condition. The backside could benefit from a little cleaning, but it has no chips, cracks, or crazing.
The tray measures 17.25” in length and it’s 9.25” wide.
