Interesting Loyal Protective Live Insurance Company ID Tag Boston, Mass. These ID Tags were issued mainly to policyholders that were working in dangerous professions. Railroad workers, firemen, miners etc. would wear this tag on their overalls or belts in case of an accident or death. Utilized the most modern invention of the day, the telegraph. Measures 2 1/2 inches high and 1 3/4 inches wide. In good antique condition, has some discoloration. Please see photos.
